Galapagos pictures posted (surprisingly enough)

| December 29, 2009 9:31 pm

Although we are nearly 3 months behind with everything else, we have already posted our pictures from Christmas around the Galapagos Islands. Hope you enjoy.

Happy New Year to all, especially those we did not manage to send out holiday emails to yet (sadly, most of our friends). We hope 2010 is much better to the World than 2009 was (although from a selfish personal perspective, we would be thrilled if it was as good to us as 2009 was).

Yes we are still here

so updates to our site have been scant thanks to surprisingly scant Internet access in Colombia but thanks to all those who complained by email and asked for more pics and posts (we are touched you care)… anyway, we have been in Colombia for more than a month now and have some new pictures up from our early days here

almost done going through our backlog of pictures from Bolivia and Peru from October so more stories to come as soon as we get more reliable Internet access

in other news, we got our 1993 Eurovan camper van now so are on the road in style at last… in Cartagena, Colombia right now and about to start our long journey to (hopefully) Punta Arenas in 30 minutes
